Announcement of publication of the results of Eggshell Membrane research in an industry-academia collaboration project between The University of Tokyo and ALMADO in an electronic journal

Our company and a team led by Professor Kato of The University of Tokyo announced their latest research results, which confirmed through experiments using mice that "ingesting Eggshell Membrane improves the intestinal flora (intestinal flora), enhances lipid metabolism, and may have the effect of suppressing obesity, which is closely related to lifestyle-related diseases." The results were published online in Food Science & Nutrition on April 5, 2020.

In order to continue contributing to the maintenance and promotion of health, we will continue to use the results of this study to conduct further research into the functionality of Eggshell Membrane in preventing obesity, and to develop and supply products with this functionality.
