A group of researchers from The University of Tokyo 's Professor Dr. Hisanori Kato has found that ingesting finely ground Eggshell Membrane.
It has been demonstrated that it suppresses inflammation in ulcerative colitis, which is designated as a national intractable disease.
The findings were presented at the 68th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nutrition and Food Science, held on Sunday, June 1, 2014.
In addition, symptoms of liver damage were improved, and genetic analysis revealed that inflammation and liver fibrosis were suppressed.
